Russian-backed militants launch 32 attacks on ATO troops in Donbas

Russian-backed militants launched 32 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in eastern Ukraine over the past day, the press center of the ATO headquarters reports. 

In Luhansk direction, 6 ceasefire violations were recorded. Terrorists shelled Novooleksandrivka and Popasna using small arms. Also, Russian-backed militants used grenade launchers to launch attacks on Ukrainians soldiers near Novooleksandrivka.

In Donetsk direction, terrorists violated ceasefire 10 times. Militants used small arms, grenade launchers, machine guns to shell Ukrainian troops near Avdiivka, Zaitseve and Kamianka.

In Mariupol direction, 16 ceasefire violations were recorded. Militants used small arms, machine guns to shell Pavlopil, Marinka, Shyrokyno, Starohnativka, and Bohdanivka. Also, terrorists used armored personnel carrier to shell Talakovka and grenade launchers to launch attacks on the Ukrainian army in Shyrokyno and Bohdanivka.

In addition, five unmanned aerial vehicles were recorded in the ATO zone in the past day.
