19 Ukrainian soldiers killed in ATO area in March – OSCE

The OSCE monitors note that the situation in Donbas conflict zone is getting worse. At least 19 Ukrainian servicemen were killed and 128 soldiers were wounded in Donbas in March 2016.

"Only on March 31, the military operations in the area of conduct of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) killed one soldier and wounded eight soldiers. On March 20 and March 25, two soldiers were killed. At the same time, according to the information released by the ATO headquarters press center over the past month, not all losses were battle. On March 29, one Ukrainian serviceman died as a result of a traffic accident," reads the report.

As a reminder, four Ukrainian soldiers were killed in the ATO area in January this year. Eight servicemen were killed in February. The ceasefire has been officially declared in the ATO area.
