Militants violate ceasefire 55 times in eastern Ukraine

The militants do not stop shelling the ATO troops in eastern Ukraine.

"The Kremlin mercenaries do not stop shelling the positions of Ukrainian soldiers, disregarding any agreements to de-escalate the conflict in Donbas. The militants are increasingly using mortars to shell our positions," reads the statement.

As reported, the militants used grenade launchers, small arms and 82mm mortars to fire on the Ukrainian positions near Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk) and Avdiyivka (18km north of Donetsk).

In addition, the enemy resumed heavy shelling of the ATO troops in Mayorske (45km north of Donetsk) and Zaitseve (67km north-north-east of Donetsk) in the evening. The militants used grenade launchers and 120mm mortars.

"The enemy violated the ceasefire 55 times over the past day," the press center reports.
