The Kherson region police are investigating the shooting of two men by Russians in July 2022 in the village of Novopetrivka.

This was reported in Telegram by the investigative department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kherson region, Ukrinform reports.

“The police are collecting evidence and identifying witnesses and eyewitnesses to the incident,” the report said.

It is noted that on July 23, 2022, at around 11 p.m., Russian occupation troops on Popova Street in the village of Novopetrivka, Beryslav District, shot and killed two local residents, aged 63 and 61, with automatic firearms.

As reported by Ukrinform, investigators in Kherson region are investigating 4,500 cases of war crimes committed by Russians.
