SBU officer shot dead in Kyiv's Holosiivskyi district

An officer of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) was shot dead in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv. A criminal investigation has been launched in connection with the murder.

The SBU's press service confirmed this to Ukrinform.

The SBU and the National Police are conducting a full range of measures to establish all the circumstances of the crime and bring those responsible to justice.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing under Article 348 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (attempt on the life of a law enforcement officer, member of a public formation for the protection of public order and state border, or a service member).
