More than 100 criminal offences recorded in Luhansk region in past day – Interior Ministry

The police of the Luhansk region recorded 111 criminal offenses committed in the territory of the region on July 23, including 11 cases of looting.

The press service of Ukraine’s Interior Ministry said this in a statement, Ukrinform reports.

"Among the [registered] criminal offences are: 51 cases related to the violation of the customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), 12 cases of seizure of state buildings (Article 341 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), 11 cases of illegal possession of vehicles (Article 289 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), 11 cases of looting (Article 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the ministry said.

Also, the police recorded eight cases about missing persons and one case related to encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine (Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As reported, the Luhansk regional police collect evidence of every war crime of the Russian Federation in order to bring criminals to justice.
