Zaporizhzhia doctors save teen girl after clinical death following Russian attack

Zaporizhzhia doctors performed complex surgeries and saved a 15-year-old girl who experienced clinical death after being wounded during a Russian attack on June 8.

Zaporizhzhia City Council Secretary Rehina Kharchenko announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Doctors managed to save the 15-year-old girl after clinical death and a difficult multi-hour operation. The child was injured during the June 8 attack on the Khortytskyi district. However, the girl's condition remains extremely serious. Our medical workers are doing everything possible," she wrote.

On June 8, the Russian army attacked Zaporizhzhia's Khortytskyi district. An enemy drone struck near a public transport stop. Two women were killed and 31 people were injured. Seven people remain in serious condition, including four teenagers.
