Russian attacks in Kherson region leave four civilians injured

In the Kherson region, four civilians, including a utility worker, were injured during the day as a result of Russian attacks.

According to Ukrinform, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this on Telegram.

According to the investigation, during June 9 the Russian army shelled settlements in the Kherson region with artillery, multiple rocket launchers, mortars, and UAVs.

As of 17:30, it had been recorded that four civilians had been affected by the consequences of Russian aggression. In particular, at night a man and a woman were injured by an enemy drone in the village of Chaikine. During the day, another woman sustained severe injuries in Urozhayne, where she entered the strike zone of a Russian FPV drone.

Also in Kherson, a city utility employee was injured as a result of the detonation of an explosive device.

In addition, private and apartment buildings, an agricultural firm, agricultural machinery, and passenger vehicles were damaged.

"Under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office bodies of Kherson region, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of war crimes," the statement said.

As Ukrinform reported, on June 9 a utility worker was blown up on a Russian mine in central Kherson. He was injured while carrying out work to eliminate the consequences of enemy shelling in the city center. The enemy dropped mines from a drone onto the roof where utility workers were working, and the 67-year-old man stepped on one of them. The victim suffered a concussion, an explosive and closed traumatic brain injury, and a traumatic amputation of his left foot.
