Russian forces attack Kharkiv, Kharkiv region overnight, injuring 14 people

Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and four communities in the Kharkiv region overnight on June 2. There was destruction, and 14 people were injured, including one child.

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Tonight Russian forces carried out a combined strike on Kharkiv and the Barvinkove, Dvorskyi, Merefa, and Vysokyi communities in the region," the statement said.

Residential buildings, outbuildings, garages, cars, and other civilian objects caught fire.

Multi-storey and private residential buildings were also damaged.

According to preliminary data, 14 people were injured, including one child.

Emergency Service units, National Police officers, medical workers, volunteers, and utility services worked at the scene.

As Ukrinform reported, Russian forces struck Kharkiv with 15 drones and two missiles, injuring 10 people, including a child.
