Ukrainian forces strike key Russian logistics hubs in occupied part of Donetsk region
Operators of the 413th Raid Regiment of the Ukrainian Unmanned Systems Forces carried out strikes on Russian military warehouses and a troop deployment site in the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk region.
The 413th Raid Regiment said this in a statement published on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
According to the post, the unit conducted a coordinated operation against targets in the operational rear of Russian occupation forces in the Donetsk region.
The strikes targeted:
- A logistics and supply depot used by Russia's 36th Motor Rifle Brigade and other units of the 29th Army near Buhas and Novoselivka;
- A logistics depot serving Russia's 51st Army (formerly the so-called "1st Army Corps" of Russian-backed forces in Donetsk) near Dokuchaievsk;
- Logistics warehouses and a temporary deployment site of the 2nd Battalion of the 155th Brigade, 55th Marine Division of Russia's Pacific Fleet near the settlement of Syhnalne.
According to the regiment, the targeted sites are located at intersections of strategically important rail and road routes.
"As a result, key logistics hubs where the enemy was concentrating personnel and resources for future offensive operations came under attack," the unit said.
The military also noted that some of the strikes were carried out in parts of the Donbas that have been under Russian occupation since 2014.
