Russian military loses 1,160 troops in war against Ukraine over past 24 hours
Total combat losses among Russian troops since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, from February 24, 2022, to May 28, 2026, amount to approximately 1,360,110 personnel, including 1,160 over the past 24 hours.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
Russia has also lost 11,956 (+1) tanks, 24,625 (+7) armored fighting vehicles, 42,832 (+42) artillery systems, 1,806 (+1) multiple launch rocket systems, 1,397 (+0) air defense systems, aircraft – 436 (+0), helicopters – 353 (+0), ground-based robotic systems – 1,492 (+7), tactical-level UAVs – 314,902 (+1,560), cruise missiles – 4,687 (+0), ships/boats – 33 (+0), submarines – 2 (+0), vehicles and tankers – 99,906 (+261), and specialized equipment – 4,227 (+3).

As reported by Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky, following a meeting with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi and Chief of the General Staff Andriy Hnatov, announced new long-range operations against Russia.
