Russia’s war casualty toll in Ukraine up by 1,220 over past day

Russia’s total combat losses in the war against Ukraine from February 24, 2022, to May 16, 2026, have reached approximately 1,350,010 personnel, including 1,220 losses over the past day.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Russia has also lost 11,939 (+1) tanks, 24,583 (+5) armored combat vehicles, 42,262 (+47) artillery systems, 1,792 (+2) multiple launch rocket systems, and 1,386 (+2) air defense systems, 436 aircraft, 353 (+1) helicopters, 1,415(+5) ground robotic systems, 297,057 (+1,603) operational-tactical drones, 4,628 cruise missiles, 33 warships/boats, 2 submarines, 97,338 (+220) vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4,200 (+4) special equipment units.

The data are being clarified.

As reported by Ukrinform, as of 22:00 on May 18, there were 195 combat engagements between Ukraine’s Defense Forces and Russian forces along the front line.
