Ukrainian border guards strike Russian self-propelled artillery system on Lyman front

Drone operators from the Phoenix unit struck a Russian Pion self-propelled artillery system on the Lyman front.

According to Ukrinform, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.

“On the Lyman front, border guard drone pilots from the Phoenix unit detected a Pion self-propelled artillery system while it was firing. The enemy attempted to conceal the installation in a forest line, but did not manage to do so in time,” the SBGS said.

Russian artillery also came under attack in the Toretsk area, while Ukrainian fighters struck enemy quad bikes near Huliaipole. In the Dobropillia area, enemy shelters and infantry positions were destroyed.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out a coordinated strike on a Russian military logistics support area located about 20 kilometers southeast of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region.
