Russia launches new strike on Zaporizhzhia industrial facility, casualties reported
Russian forces attacked an industrial facility in the city of Zaporizhzhia on Friday, May 15, leaving two people injured.
This was reported on Telegram by Head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov, Ukrinform says.
“Russians are attacking the regional center again,” Fedorov wrote.
According to him, there was “another strike on an industrial facility.”
Later, he provided preliminary details of the attack.
“The Russians are targeting industrial infrastructure, but civilians are most affected,” Fedorov said.
He added that two people were injured and several private houses were significantly damaged.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, earlier on May 15, Russian forces struck an industrial infrastructure facility in Zaporizhzhia, damaging a fuel and lubricants tank. One person was killed and three others were injured.
