Defense Forces regain control over Odradne in Kharkiv region

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have regained control of the village of Odradne and its surrounding areas in the Kharkiv region.

According to Ukrinform, the 129th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Land Forces announced this on Facebook and released a video of the combat operations.

“As a result of a planned operation, the Ukrainian Defense Forces cleared the village of Odradne in the Dvorichna district of the Kharkiv region and regained control of it along with the surrounding area,” the statement said.

Units of the 129th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade carried out assault operations, inflicted fire damage on the enemy, and drove them out of forest belts, fortified positions, and strongholds.

Assault units, UAV operators, and artillery were involved in the mission.

As the military noted, their coordinated efforts allowed them to systematically detect, engage, and destroy enemy personnel, firepower, and cover.

“This advance was the result of the courage, endurance, and professional work of Ukrainian soldiers who carry out combat missions every day,” the 129th Separate Heavy Mechanized Brigade stated.
