Transneft oil transportation facility is on fire in Bashkortostan

Reports indicate a fire in the vicinity of the Nurlino LPDS in Bashkortostan, Russia.

According to Ukrinform, the Telegram channel ASTRA reported this.

It is noted that the cause of the fire has not yet been determined. No air raid alerts were issued in the region, and official authorities have not yet commented on the incident.

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations stated that firefighters have already arrived at the scene.

The Telegram channel also published a video from an eyewitness showing a large plume of black smoke. The video was reportedly filmed from Sofiya Perovskaya Street in Ufa. The distance from the filming location to Nurlino LDPS is 29 km, according to ASTRA.

According to open sources, the Nurlino linear production and dispatch station is part of the Transneft system. The facility is one of the largest hubs in Russia’s oil transportation infrastructure.

As reported by Ukrinform, drones struck an “industrial facility” in Yaroslavl, Russia.

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported the alleged interception or destruction of 286 Ukrainian drones over several Russian regions, including the Yaroslavl region, Krasnodar region, and Kalmykia, on the night of May 11.
