Air Defense Forces shot down 111 of the 139 drones used by Russian forces to attack Ukraine since the evening of May 12.

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Air Force reported this on Telegram.

Starting at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, the Russians attacked Ukraine with 139 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as Parody decoy drones, from the following directions: Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russian Federation), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea).

The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 13, Air Defense Forces shot down or neutralized 111 drones in northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.

Hits by 20 attack UAVs were recorded at 13 locations, as well as debris falling at four locations.

The attack is ongoing, with dozens of enemy drones in the airspace.

As reported by Ukrinform, eight people were killed, and 11 others were wounded in the Dnipropetrovsk region as a result of Russian attacks.
