Russia loses 1,130 troops, three air defense systems in Ukraine over past day
Russia’s total combat losses in the war against Ukraine have reached approximately 1,344,180 personnel since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, including 1,130 troops lost over the past day alone.
According to Ukrinform, the figures were released by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
The updated estimates of Russian military losses also include: 11,928 tanks (+2), 24,554 armored combat vehicles (+1), 41,985 artillery systems (+50), 1,786 multiple launch rocket systems (+1), 1,376 air defense systems (+3), 435 aircraft, 352 helicopters, 1,375 ground robotic systems (+2), 287,359 operational-tactical drones (+1,853), 4,585 cruise missiles, 33 warships and boats, 2 submarines, 96,142 vehicles and fuel tankers (+287), 4,181 pieces of special equipment (+2).
The figures are being updated and clarified.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, as of 22:00 on May 12, a total of 170 combat clashes had taken place along the front line.
