Russian drone attack leaves homes, kindergarten damaged in Kyiv region
Residential buildings and a kindergarten were damaged in the Kyiv region as a result of a Russian drone attack overnight.
According to Ukrinform, Head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Mykola Kalashnyk reported the attack on Telegram.
“During the night, the enemy once again attacked peaceful communities in the region. Residential buildings, educational institutions, and the everyday lives of our people came under drone strikes,” he wrote.
According to the official, in the Fastiv district a kindergarten was damaged in the attack, causing a fire on the roof of the building. Windows were shattered in a nearby four-story residential building, and two private houses were also damaged.
No civilians were reported injured.
“All emergency services are working at the scene. Efforts to eliminate the consequences of the attack and document the destruction are ongoing,” Kalashnyk added.
According to earlier reports, debris from enemy drones fell onto the roof of a residential building in one of Kyiv’s districts during the attack.
