Russian forces using heavy hexacopters to mine roads on Sloviansk front
In the Sloviansk sector of the front, Russian forces are using heavy hexacopters to lay mines on roads.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram, along with video showing the systematic operations of the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade targeting enemy logistics.
The situation in the Sloviansk sector remains quite challenging due to sustained Russian shelling of Ukrainian positions and attempts to control logistical routes between units.
Over the past month, the enemy has increasingly used ground robotic systems to deliver supplies and ammunition to artillery and UAV positions. Russian forces have also been actively deploying heavy hexacopters to mine roads used by units of the 81st brigade.
Despite the challenging conditions in the Sloviansk sector, soldiers of the 81st brigade of the 7th Corps of the Air Assault Forces continue to firmly hold their positions and effectively carry out their tasks – as evidenced by a decrease in enemy logistical activity in the rear, the Air Assault Forces noted.
As reported by Ukrinform, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian Defense Forces positions 51 times since the beginning of the day, concentrating their main efforts on the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole sectors, while also shelling border areas.
