Two Russian drones strike kindergarten in Sumy
Two drones were reported to have struck a kindergarten building in the central part of the city of Sumy.
According to Ukrinform, Artem Kobzar, the acting mayor of Sumy, reported this on Telegram.
“Two UAVs were reported to have struck a kindergarten building in the central part of the city. All relevant services are working at the scene,” he said.
According to reports, the number of casualties and the extent of the damage are currently being verified.
Earlier, the Sumy City Military Administration reported that two Russian UAVs struck a civilian building in the central part of Sumy. A rescue operation is underway. The Russian attack is ongoing—people are asked to remain in safe locations.
As reported by Ukrinform, on May 5, Russian troops struck the outskirts of Sumy, damaging warehouse buildings and cars.
