Two people injured, and fire breaks out in Kharkiv following Russian drone strike
In the Novobavarskyi district of Kharkiv, two people were injured, and a fire broke out as a result of a Russian attack this morning.
According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service of the Kharkiv region reported this on Telegram.
“The enemy UAV strike hit near a private home in the Novobavarskyi district. The explosion caused a fire in the house. The area engulfed by flames was 120 square meters. According to preliminary data, two women suffered acute stress reactions,” the statement said.
It is noted that neighboring houses were also damaged.
Rescue workers quickly addressed the aftermath of the shelling.
Operational units and psychologists from the State Emergency Service, as well as medical personnel, law enforcement officers, and volunteers, were working at the scene.
As reported by Ukrinform, on May 5, Kharkiv and 15 other settlements in the Kharkiv region came under Russian attack; eight people were killed, and 40 were injured, including three children.
