War update: 139 clashes on front lines, most enemy attacks repelled in Pokrovsk sector

A total of 139 combat engagements took place along the front as of 22:00 on Monday, with the heaviest fighting recorded in the Pokrovsk sector, where Ukrainian forces repelled 25 Russian assaults and inflicted significant losses on the enemy.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a situation update published on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

Russian forces carried out 51 airstrikes, dropping 152 guided aerial bombs. They also deployed 5,035 kamikaze drones and launched 2,237 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, three clashes were recorded, alongside 58 enemy shelling attacks, including two involving multiple launch rocket systems.

In the Southern Slobozhanshchyna sector, Russian forces launched three assaults near Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory, and Vilcha, with one clash still ongoing.

In the Kupiansk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled nine enemy assaults near Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, Kivsharivka, and Novoosynove, with one clash still ongoing.

In the Lyman sector, two enemy attempts to advance near Karmazynivka were repelled, with one engagement still underway.

No offensive actions were recorded in the Sloviansk and Kramatorsk sectors.

Ukrainian forces also repelled 18 assaults in the Kostiantynivka sector near several settlements, including Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Novopavlivka, Stepanivka, and Sofiivka.

The heaviest fighting took place in the Pokrovsk sector, where Russian forces attempted to advance in multiple areas, including Rodynske, Chervonyi Lyman, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Filliia, and toward Bilytske, Shevchenko, Nove Shakhove, Kucheriv Yar, Vasylivka, and Novopavlivka. One battle is still ongoing.

Preliminary estimates indicate that 78 Russian troops were killed and 22 wounded in this sector alone. Ukrainian forces destroyed six vehicles, 12 pieces of special equipment, two UAV control points, and damaged eight artillery systems, 77 personnel shelters, and eight additional vehicles. A total of 136 enemy drones were destroyed or suppressed.

In the Oleksandrivka sector, Russian forces attempted three assaults toward Kalynivske and Zlahoda, while airstrikes hit Havrylivka and Malomykhailivka.

In the Huliaipole sector, 17 enemy attacks were repelled near Dobropillia, Tsvitkove, Zaliznychne, Hirke, Staroukrainka, Olenokostiantynivka, Huliaipilske, and near Huliaipole, with one clash still ongoing. Russian aircraft also struck areas near Tsvitkove, Vozdvyzhenka, Rybalske, Lisne, Rivne, Novoselivka, Charivne, and Dolynka.

No offensive actions were recorded in the Orikhiv sector, though an airstrike targeted Orikhiv.

In the Dnipro River sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled three assaults toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.

No significant changes were reported on other fronts.
