Over the course of a week, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine using nearly 2,360 strike drones, more than 1,320 guided aerial bombs, and about 60 missiles.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

According to him, easing sanctions against Russia does not correspond to the real situation in the war and diplomacy and fuels the illusion among Russian leadership that the war can continue.

"This week alone, the Russians have launched over 2,360 attack drones, more than 1,320 guided aerial bombs, and nearly 60 missiles of various types at our cities and communities," the President noted.

Zelensky emphasized that every dollar paid for Russian oil is money for war.

More than 110 tankers of Moscow's shadow fleet are currently at sea, carrying over 12 million tons of Russian oil, which, due to relaxed sanctions, can again be sold without consequences. This amounts to about $10 billion — a resource that is directly converted into new strikes against Ukraine.

Therefore, the Head of State stressed, it is important that Russian tankers are stopped rather than allowed to deliver oil to ports. It is necessary to reduce the aggressor's oil exports, and Ukraine's long-range sanctions are working toward this goal.

Zelensky thanked every Ukrainian soldier for their precision and all partners who help increase pressure on Russia over this war.

As Ukrinform reported, the United States issued a new license allowing the supply and sale of crude oil and petroleum products of Russian origin that were loaded onto vessels before April 17.
