Russian strike on Odesa high-rise leaves one dead, six wounded
In Odesa, a Russian attack on a residential high-rise building has left one person dead and six others injured.
According to Ukrinform, Head of the Odesa City Military Administration Serhii Lysak reported this on Telegram.
“According to preliminary information, four people were injured,” Lysak initially said.
Rescue workers and all emergency services are already operating at the site of the strike, and an operational headquarters has been set up.
He later added that one of the injured victims had died.
Doctors did everything possible, but the injuries proved fatal.
The number of injured has since risen to six.
“The enemy attack on a residential building in Odesa has caused casualties and destruction. Unfortunately, six people aged between 20 and 67 were injured in the UAV strike. A man around 60 years old was killed,” Kiper said.
At least three apartments in the building were damaged, and one was destroyed. The fire that broke out has now been extinguished.
Three of the injured have been hospitalized, and their condition is assessed by doctors as moderate. Another victim refused hospitalization and is receiving outpatient care.
