Russian drones hit civilian and port infrastructure in Odesa region, causing damage
Overnight on April 14, Russian drones attacked civilian and port infrastructure in the southern Odesa region.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Telegram by Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleh Kiper.
He said that during the night, the enemy carried out a mass drone attack on civilian and port infrastructure in the southern Odesa region.
At the port of Izmail, a Panama-flagged civilian vessel, a pier, a barge, and port equipment were damaged.
As a result of the strikes, a vehicle repair station building was destroyed and subsequently burned down. Two passenger buses and seven cars were also destroyed.
Roofs of six private houses were damaged, and an ambulance was also damaged.
No fatalities or injuries were reported, Kiper emphasized, adding that emergency and utility services are working at the sites and response efforts are ongoing.
As previously reported by Ukrinform, on the night of April 11 in Odesa, two people were killed when Russian drones struck a residential area.
