Russian forces strike Velykyi Burluk in Kharkiv region: one killed, three injured

The Russian army carried out a drone strike on the settlement of Velykyi Burluk in Kupiansk district, killing one person and injuring three others. 

The press service of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service (DSNS) in the Kharkiv region reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"One person was killed and three others were injured as a result of a Russian UAV strike on the settlement of Velykyi Burluk in Kupiansk district," the statement said.

According to the DSNS, four private houses and three outbuildings were damaged. A house and a passenger car caught fire.

As a spokesperson for the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office added, the deceased was a 74-year-old woman.

"A 69-year-old woman was injured. Two other people, a man and a woman, suffered acute stress reactions," the spokesperson said.

As previously reported, five people were injured in a Russian strike on the city of Derhachi in the Kharkiv region, two of them in serious condition.
