Two major energy facilities in Odesa region heavily damaged in Russian attack

Two major energy facilities in Ukraine’s Odesa region sustained significant damage during a Russian drone attack overnight on April 10.

This was reported by DTEK Odesa Electric Networks on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

“Two major energy facilities of DTEK Odesa Electric Networks in the southern part of the region suffered significant destruction. As of now, 11,100 households are temporarily without electricity,” the post reads.

The company noted that specialists are already working on-site to restore power as quickly as possible.

It also reminded that stabilization power outage schedules are in effect across the Odesa region on April 10, except for the city of Odesa.

As previously reported, Russian forces carried out a drone attack on the Odesa region overnight, damaging port and energy infrastructure facilities and causing disruptions to electricity supply.
