Russian attacks over past day leave nine injured, including one child, in Kherson region
Over the past day, Russian forces carried out strikes on 35 settlements in the Kherson region using drones, artillery, and aircraft, injuring nine people, including a child.
According to Ukrinform, the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, reported this on Telegram.
The strikes affected Beryslav, Shyroka Balka, Chervonyi Yar, Stepanivka, Mykilske, Novoraisk, Stanislav, Oleksandrivka, Sofiivka, Molodizhne, Tomyna Balka, Antonivka, Sadove, Veletenske, Chornobaivka, Novodmytrivka, Prydniprovske, Bilozerka, Kizomys, Khreshchenivka, Burhunka, Vesele, Honcharne, Zolota Balka, Kozatske, Lvove, Mylove, Mykhailivka, Novotiahyinka, Tokarivka, Tyahynka, Chervonyi Maiak, Inzhenerne, Liubymivka, and Kherson.
Russian troops targeted critical and social infrastructure as well as residential areas across the region. In particular, they damaged five apartment buildings and six private houses. An administrative building, a gas station, and private vehicles were also damaged.
Five people were evacuated from liberated communities in the region over the past day.
As previously reported, at midday on April 9, Russian forces attacked the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson with a drone, injuring two employees of a thermal power plant.
