Russian shelling of Kharkiv region leaves one killed and 11 injured over past day, including one child

Over the previous day, one person died and 11 were wounded in the Kharkiv region.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Over the past day, the city of Kharkiv and 13 settlements in the region came under enemy fire. As a result of the attacks, 11 people were injured, including a child... A 70-year-old man was killed in the village of Petrivske, Balakliia community, due to the explosion of an unknown device," Syniehubov wrote.

According to his information, in Kharkiv, the injured include men aged 70, 64, and 39; women aged 66 and 95; and an 11-year-old girl. In the village of Prudianka (Derhachi community), a 59-year-old man and a 67-year-old woman were injured. Between the villages of Klynovа-Novoselivka and Liutivka (Zolochiv community), two men aged 51 and 70 were injured. In the settlement of Shevchenkove, a 72-year-old woman was wounded.

Medical assistance was also provided to a 38-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman who had been injured on April 3 during shelling in the village of Tsupivka (Derhachi community). Russian forces used guided aerial bombs (KABs), "Geran-2" and "Molniya" UAVs, FPV drones, and other weapons in attacks on the region.

As a result of the strikes, private and apartment buildings, vehicles, three dormitories, outbuildings, and power lines were damaged or destroyed.

As previously reported, on the previous day in the Kharkiv region, four civilians were killed and another 11 were injured due to enemy shelling.
