Army is 100% supplied with fuel, says Zelensky

President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that as of today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are fully supplied with fuel; however, he is working on additional agreements with countries in the Middle East to secure additional fuel supplies.

According to Ukrinform, the president made this announcement during a Zoom conference with journalists while in Qatar.

“As of today, the army is fully supplied with everything [referring to fuel]. Our priority is the army; we have a clear understanding of the amount of our supplies. We have a total supply of diesel and gasoline for the entire country, including the army, of about 700,000 tons per month. We have a rough idea of the volumes—somewhere around 8 million tons per year, or 7.2–7.4 million tons per year. In general, we know how to ensure this,” Zelensky said.

While on a tour of the Middle East, the President also emphasized that, in addition to fuel supply contracts, several other agreements are being negotiated.

“So far, there have been no complaints from the military; they are 100% supplied,” the president emphasized.
