Russian drone attack on Ivano-Frankivsk leaves two killed and four injured

As a result of a Russian drone strike on Ivano-Frankivsk, two people were killed and four others were injured, including a 6-year-old child.

The head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration, Svitlana Onyshchuk, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"As a result of the enemy attack on the center of Ivano-Frankivsk, two people were killed," Onyshchuk said.

According to her, four more people were injured, including a six-year-old child. All are receiving the necessary medical care.

Onyshchuk noted that the strike damaged the buildings of the city and regional maternity hospitals, as well as around 10 residential buildings.

All relevant services are working at the scene.

As Ukrinform previously reported, according to Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv, Russian forces attempted to target an administrative building in the center of Ivano-Frankivsk.
