Debris from Iranian missile falls near Church of Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem

During Monday’s attacks, fragments of intercepted Iranian missiles fell in several areas of Jerusalem, including near the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by The Times of Israel.

A large fragment of an intercepted missile struck a house in East Jerusalem, causing damage, the Fire and Rescue Service reported.

Other rocket fragments fell near the National Library, not far from the Knesset (Israel’s parliament), and near the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in the Old City.

One person sustained minor injuries after touching a hot rocket fragment. According to Magen David Adom, the injured person suffered a minor burn to the hand.

As reported by Ukrinform, the United Arab Emirates’ air defense systems intercepted 27 aerial targets launched from Iranian territory.
