Russians strike Brovary with missiles, leaving one dead, eight injured
As a result of a Russian missile attack on the city of Brovary in the Kyiv region, one person was killed and eight others were injured.
Brovary Mayor Ihor Sapozhko stated this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"As a result of the missile attack, there are casualties in Brovary. At this moment, four people are known to be injured and, unfortunately, one person has been killed. All details later. Stay safe until the all-clear," the statement said.
Later, Sapozhko reported that the number of injured had increased to eight.
As Ukrinform previously reported, an air raid alert was declared in Kyiv and a number of regions of Ukraine due to the threat of Russia using ballistic weapons.
