Russians shell Donetsk region over 1,400 times in one day, leaving one killed, several injured
Over the past day, Russian forces carried out 1,437 shelling attacks in the Donetsk region, damaging 21 civilian objects. One person was killed and three were injured.
The regional police reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
"On April 29, police recorded 1,437 attacks along the front line and in residential areas of the region… 21 civilian objects were damaged, including 11 residential buildings," the statement said.
Seven settlements were under fire: the cities of Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk, Mykolaivka, the settlement of Sviatohorivka, and the villages of Kindrativka, Ocheretyne, and Tetianivka.
In particular, Russians carried out nine strikes on Druzhkivka, including with three KAB-250 bombs, Smerch multiple launch rocket systems, and drones — killing one civilian and injuring two others. Four private houses, an enterprise, and three civilian vehicles were damaged.
Kramatorsk was attacked with four UAVs, leaving one person injured; three apartment buildings, a courier service facility, a civilian car, and an excavator were damaged.
In Mykolaivka, a private house and a car were damaged, while in Tetianivka three private houses were damaged.
In addition, last night from 02:30 to 02:40, Russian troops attacked Shabelkivka and Yasnohirka with drones. Residential buildings were hit. Information about casualties and destruction is being clarified.
As Ukrinform reported, 81 people have been killed in the Sloviansk community since February 2022, and more than 50% of multi-story buildings have been damaged.
