Russians suffer 780 more casualties, lose air defense system in Ukraine war
The total combat losses of Russia’s armed forces from February 24, 2022, to March 12, 2026, in the war against Ukraine are estimated at approximately 1,276,760 personnel, including 780 killed in the past 24 hours.
This is according to a report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, cited by Ukrinform.
The Russian military also reportedly lost the following equipment over the same period: 11,766 (+3) tanks, 24,197 (+20) armored combat vehicles, 38,319 (+56) artillery systems, 1,681 (+1) multiple rocket launchers, 1,329 (+1) air defense systems, 435 (+0) aircraft, 349 (+0) helicopters, 173,068 (+2,102) operational-tactical UAVs, 4,403 (+0) cruise missiles, 31 (+0) warships/boats, 2 (+0) submarines, 83,034 (+243) vehicles and fuel tankers, 4,088 (+0) pieces of special equipment.

As reported by Ukrinform, on March 11, as of 22:00, there were 113 clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders, with the enemy being most active in the Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk sectors.
