91-year-old woman wounded during shelling on March 9 dies in hospital in Kherson
A 91-year-old woman who was injured by a Russian strike on March 9 in her apartment in the Dniprovskyi district died in a hospital in Kherson.
According to Ukrinform, the Kherson City Military Administration reported this on Telegram.
“A 91-year-old woman from Kherson, who was wounded as a result of enemy shelling of the Dniprovskyi district on March 9 after 9:00 a.m., unfortunately died today,” the message says.
As noted, the woman was in her apartment at the time of the Russian attack. Doctors struggled to save her life until the very end, but her injuries proved fatal.
As reported by Ukrinform, on March 9, a 91-year-old woman who was injured as a result of shelling in the Dniprovskyi district at around 9:15 a.m. was taken to the hospital. She was diagnosed with blast injury and shrapnel wounds to the chest and shoulder. At the time of the shelling, the victim was in her apartment.
