Defense Forces hit air defense system, landing craft, and Russian command posts
On March 7 and during the night of March 8, Ukrainian Defense Forces hit several Russian army targets, including in the temporarily occupied Crimea and the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.
According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.
The following targets were hit:
- The Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun system and the BK-16 landing craft in the area of the temporarily occupied Novoozerne (Crimea);
- The Orion drone control center in the area of the temporarily occupied Krasnosilske (Crimea);
- The drone control center in Dunayets, Belgorod region, Russian Federation;
- The drone control center in the area of Huliaipole, Zaporizhzhia region;
- The drone control center in the currently occupied Selydove, Donetsk region;
- The command and observation posts of Russian units in the areas currently occupied by Nyzhnii Rohachyk, Zaporizhzhia region, Novopetrykivka, Volnovakha, and Selydove, Donetsk region.
The extent of the damage and other results of the strikes are still being assessed.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Defense Forces recently struck a Ka-27 helicopter, an area where the Iskander operational-tactical missile complex was concentrated, air defense systems, and several other enemy targets.
