Russian drones attack Chuhuiv district in Kharkiv region, kill one

Russian forces have attacked the Chuhuiv district in the Kharkiv region with drones, damaging civilian infrastructure and killing an elderly man.

The regional prosecutor's office reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

At around 13:00, an enemy FPV drone struck the village of Zemlianky, Kharkiv region, killing a 70-year-old man.

At about 16:30, a Russian UAV, preliminarily identified as a Gerbera drone, attacked the settlement of Kamiiana Yaruha. Houses and outbuildings were damaged. No information about casualties has been reported.

Law enforcement officers have launched pre-trial investigations under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes).

On March 5, Russian troops struck the city of Kharkiv and ten other settlements in the region. The attack damaged railway infrastructure in two districts, as well as an agricultural enterprise and power lines.
