Geran UAVs attack Chernihiv region: Woman injured, houses destroyed

On the evening of March 5, Russian drones attacked a village in the Koriukivka community in the Chernihiv region, setting houses and farm buildings on fire and injuring a woman.

According to Ukrinform, Viacheslav Chaus, head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Facebook.

“Late last night, an attack by Geran drones caused destruction in the village of Koriukivka community. There were two explosions. Houses and farm buildings caught fire. Firefighters worked at the scene. The house's owner was injured. Medics provided her with assistance on the spot,” Chaus said.

The head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration noted that over the past day, Russian troops fired on border settlements in the region 38 times, with 53 explosions recorded.

As reported by Ukrinform, on March 2, Russian troops killed a civilian and struck a heat supply facility in the Chernihiv region.
