Border guards hit Russian “Solntsepyok” in Huliaipole direction
Pilots of the Phoenix border guard unit in the Huliaipole direction struck a heavy TOS-1A Solntsepyok flamethrower system, which Russian invaders were using to shell the positions of the Defense Forces.
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by the State Border Service, which also released a video of the combat operation.
Phoenix pilots also destroyed several armored vehicles and a self-propelled artillery unit belonging to the Russians.
“Logistics is key to holding positions, so destroying logistics routes in this area has become a priority—enemy cars and trucks are burning. Nine invaders were killed in one of the destroyed trucks at the moment of impact,” the report says.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Armed Forces of Ukraine's unmanned systems forces destroyed 54 Russian invaders' air defense systems during the winter.
