Russians attempt to break through state border near two settlements in Kharkiv region

Over the past day, Russian occupation forces tried to breach the state border of Ukraine and unsuccessfully attack Ukrainian positions in the directions of Zybynе and Kruhle. In total, the Defense Forces neutralized 17 enemy attacks over the past day.

According to Ukrinform, the press service of the Joint Forces Grouping stated this on Telegram.

"Over the past day in the Southern Slobozhanshchyna direction, the enemy attempted to break through the State Border of Ukraine and attack our positions in the directions of Zybynе and Kruhle. Our units inflicted fire damage on the assault groups of the occupiers," the statement said.

In addition, in the Velykyi Burluk direction, the invaders continue to accumulate forces to resume offensive operations.

In the Kupiansk direction, the occupiers unsuccessfully attempted to break through our defenses toward Petropavlivka, Novoplatonivka, and Kurylivka.

In the Lyman direction, our defenders repelled enemy assault actions toward Shyikivka, Stavky, Drobyshеve, and Lyman.

As Ukrinform previously reported, 144 combat engagements between the Defense Forces of Ukraine and Russian invaders were recorded on the front line over the past day, March 3, with the largest number of enemy attacks recorded in the Pokrovsk and Huliaipole directions.
