Five civilians killed and 13 injured in Donetsk region due to morning Russian shelling
Five people were killed and 13 others wounded in the Donetsk region as a result of the morning shelling of Kramatorsk and Druzhkivka.
According to Ukrinform, Vadym Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported this on Facebook.
“At least five people were killed and 13 wounded as a result of morning shelling in the Donetsk region... All relevant services are working on site. We are carefully documenting all the circumstances of these crimes and providing the necessary assistance to the victims,” the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration wrote.
He specified that three people were killed and two more were wounded in the morning as a result of a Russian strike on Kramatorsk.
Also in the morning, Druzhkivka came under fire several times; currently, two people are known to have been killed and 11 wounded. Seven high-rise buildings were damaged in the city.
Final information on the consequences of the strikes is being established, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration added.
As reported, the city of Kramatorsk in the Donetsk region was shelled by Russia on the morning of March 2, with three deaths reported initially.
