Russian shelling in Kharkiv region leaves seven injured
Seven people were injured over the past day as a result of Russian shelling in the Kharkiv region.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
“Over the past day, the city of Kharkiv and 20 settlements in the Kharkiv region came under enemy fire. In the village of Rozsokhuvate of the Kunie community, two 20-year-old men and a 25-year-old man were injured; in the village of Oskil, a 66-year-old woman; in the village of Anyskine of the Vilkhuvatka community, a 51-year-old man. In the city of Kharkiv today, a 75-year-old woman and a 69-year-old woman were injured,” Syniehubov said.
According to him, as a result of the shelling in Kharkiv, a dormitory, shop windows, and a fence were damaged; in Bohodukhiv district, power lines and an outbuilding; in Kupiansk district, private houses, a hotel, and a cultural center; in Izium district, private houses, power lines, a school, and a car; in Chuhuiv district, a farm where animals were injured, a car, and a warehouse.
A transit evacuation center in Lozova received 98 people over the past day.
As reported by Ukrinform, in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv, Russian forces attacked a dormitory with a drone, causing a fire.
