Zelensky announces meeting between Umerov, Witkoff, and Kushner

During tomorrow's meeting with US representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, NSDC Secretary Rustem Umerov will discuss a recovery package for Ukraine, preparations for the upcoming trilateral meeting, and details of the prisoner exchange.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky to journalists, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.

"I just spoke with Rustem Umerov. Tomorrow, he will meet with American negotiators Witkoff and Kushner. Umerov will also be with the Minister of Economy for the first time. It will be a bilateral meeting with the American side. The first issue is the Prosperity Package, that is, the recovery package for Ukraine. They will discuss the details," the president said.

He added that the focus will also be on preparations for a trilateral meeting, which, he said, may take place in early March.

“The third is the task I have set for Umerov: He will discuss the details of the exchange. We very much hope for a positive outcome on this humanitarian track,” Zelensky said.

As reported by Ukrinform, following the talks in Geneva on February 17-18, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the next round of peace talks should take place within 10 days in Geneva.
