U.S. President Donald Trump, in his annual State of the Union address, briefly mentioned the Russia-Ukraine war, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
Traditionally claiming that he had settled eight wars, Trump said: "We're working very hard to end the ninth war, the killing and slaughter between Russia and Ukraine, where 25,000 soldiers are dying each and every month."
He also added that this war "would have never happened" if he had been president.
"As president, I will make peace wherever I can," he said.
