Russia loses 1,070 troops in Ukraine war over past 24 hours
Russia suffered approximately 1,262,490 casualties in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and February 25, 2026, with 1,070 soldiers killed or wounded in the past 24 hours.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukrainian forces have destroyed 11,701 (+3) Russian tanks, 24,091 (+5) armored fighting vehicles, 37,589 (+29) artillery systems, 1,655 (+1) multiple rocket launchers, 1,305 anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 4,347 cruise missiles. The Russian army has also lost 435 warplanes, 348 helicopters, 146,457 (+886) tactical unmanned aerial systems, 29 warships/cutters, 2 submarines, 79,971 (+145) vehicles and fuel trucks, and 4,075 (+1) pieces of special equipment.
