Two killed, five injured in Russian airstrike on Dnipropetrovsk region
Russian forces have carried out an airstrike on the Synelnykove district of the Dnipropetrovsk region, killing two people and injuring five others.
Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"The enemy struck the Pokrovske community with aerial bombs. Private homes were damaged. Two local residents were killed and five others were injured. They are men aged 71, 69, 59 and 47, as well as a 21-year-old woman," Hanzha wrote.
He added that all the injured were hospitalized and doctors assess their condition as moderate.
Earlier it was reported that during the day the enemy attacked the Malomykhailivka and Pokrovske communities in the Synelnykove district. Fires broke out. Fifteen private houses were damaged, and a three-story residential building was also hit. There were reports that people might be trapped under the rubble. A man was reported injured and hospitalized.
