Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia kills woman, damages homes, business

A woman was killed in Zaporizhzhia as a result of a Russian strike, which also damaged residential buildings, a business, and a parking area.

Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Unfortunately, a woman who was inside a kiosk during the enemy attack was killed," he wrote.

Earlier, the regional administration reported that an enemy drone had hit a public transport stop.

The strike sparked a fire.

Later, Fedorov clarified the consequences of the attack.

According to him, the victim was a 74-year-old kiosk vendor. The strike damaged a parking area, an enterprise, the bus stop, nearby residential buildings, and the kiosk.

Fires that broke out at the impact sites have already been extinguished, the regional administration added.
