Russian drone hits civilian car in Sumy region, killing people

In the Shostka community of the Sumy region, a Russian drone struck a civilian car, leaving people dead and one woman injured.

This was reported on Telegram by Head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration Oleh Hryhorov, according to Ukrinform.

“The enemy hit a civilian vehicle with a drone in the Shostka community. A 56-year-old female passenger was wounded. She has been hospitalized, and doctors are providing all necessary medical assistance,” the regional official wrote.

He added that, according to preliminary information, there were two other people in the car. “At present, there are grounds to believe that they were killed. The details are being clarified,” Hryhorov noted.

The head of the regional administration expressed his condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims.

As previously reported, Russian forces carried out a missile strike on a civilian enterprise in the Trostianets community of the Sumy region.
